Yellow Mustard

Homemade, not French’s. Give it a try, really simple.

Source: No clue (Entered by Lara Rasmussen Anderson)
Serves: 1 1/2 cup
Vegan!

Ingredients
1/2 cup yellow mustard seeds
3/4 cup cider vinegar
1/3 cup water
1 1/2 tsp sugar or maple syrup or honey
1 tsp tumeric
1 tsp allspice

Step by Step Instructions
  1. 1. Soak the mustard seeds in the vinegar and water, making sure the seeds are covered by the liquid. Leave soaking for 2 days.
  2. 2. Add the sugar and spices to the seeds mixture. Blend mixture in blender until it reaches desired consistency, adding water if needed to thin.
  3. The mustard will at first seem extremely spicy, but will mellow out after a day or two in the fridge.
