Beans and sweet peppers

Pretty simple and relies on the wonderful flavor of the specialty peppers to augment the simple goodness of green beans.

Serves: 1-2


Ingredients
1/2 lb green beans, topped and chopped into 2" pieces
2 sweet peppers, chopped (Jimmy Nardello or Sweet Cayenne)      View Available Products
1 Tbsp olive oil
salt and pepper to taste

Step by Step Instructions
  1. Bring a large pot of water to a boil. Blanch green beans for 4 minutes.
  2. Meanwhile start sautéing the peppers. When the beans are done, strain and transfer directly to the sauté pan.
  3. Continue cooking until beans are tender to your liking.
  4. Salt and pepper, to taste.
