Seasoned Salt

We are all about self-sufficiency, aren’t we? Eating local and fresh and all that! So, take it a tiny step further and make your own seasonings. This easy seasoned-salt can be had with just a little pre-planning and a nice order of bulk herbs while they are in season! (hint, hint)

Ingredients
1/2 cup sea salt
1/4 cup dried parsley
2 tsp onion powder
2 tsp garlic powder
1 tsp dried oregano
1 tsp dried rosemary
1 tsp dried thyme
1 tsp dried sage
1 tsp dried basil
1 tsp celery seed
1 tsp dried margoram
1 tsp dried kelp (optional)

Step by Step Instructions
  1. Place all ingredients in a food processor and chop until smooth and blended.
  2. Store in air-tight container (add a desiccator sachet, found in vitamin jars, if you have one)
