Braised Turnips

A quick side-dish with those beautiful turnips.

Serves: 2-4


Ingredients
1/3 cup Marsala wine or unsalted vegetable stock/broth
1/3 cup water
1/4 cup fresh parsley, chopped
3 Tbsp fresh chives, chopped
4 cloves garlic, minced
1/2 tsp salt
1/2 tsp freshly ground black pepper
1 lb turnips, chopped

Step by Step Instructions
  1. Combine wine, water, parsley, chives, garlic, salt and pepper in a sauce pan and bring to boil.
  2. Add turnips, cover and simmer until turnips are soft, approximately 20min.
