Homemade Salsa Sauce

I tried this recipe at a friends house and it is so much better than what you will ever buy in the stores.

Serves: about 7 1 quart jars
Vegan!

Ingredients
9 cups Roma Tomatoes
3 chili peppers
1 lrg spanish onion
1 green pepper
1 red pepper
5 jalepeno peppers
5 1/2 oz can of tomato paste
3/4 cup white vinegar
1/4 cup brown sugar
1 TBSP pickling salt
2 tsp paprika
2 cloves garlic

Step by Step Instructions
  1. I usually double or triple the recipe. Put all the above ingred. in a lrg pot and bring to a boil uncovered. Boil gently for 1.5 hrs - stir so it doesn't stick. Then put into sterilized canning jars. After the jars are sealed put into a boiling hot water bath for 5 min.
